Beautiful, fast, low annual maintenance cost and easy to sail.
This beautifully crafted Skerry Cruiser is in excelent condition. Ready to sail.
This 22m2 is designed by Gustav Estlander and made in Sweden in 1928-1932 by Arendals in Gotenburg, Sweden. The boat has been completely restored in 2001 ( pictures and invoices available). All keel bolts were replaced by stainless steel fasters, the ribs were replaced, the boat got a new teak deck as well as a new cabin and benches made from Mahogany. The pine hull has been treated with epoxy. The boat is very strong and stiff.
The ship was also fitted with a new aluminum mast, boom, fittings and rigging.
In 2012, the boat was repainted ( please refer to pictures ) and looks great. The boat will be in the water by the end of April after the usual Spring maintenance ( waxing, scrubbing and new anti-fouling ), and is ready to sail! Our harbor is in Loosdrecht, the Netherlands.
The 22m2 has an inboard electric motor. The cover tent over the entire length dates from 2010, it is white which lowers the temperature on deck.
The ship comes with a detachable steel construction making it possible to use an outboard motor for longer distances.
The equipment consists of normal supplies; sailhood, sail bags, boat hook, bucket, spinnaker boom, windex, mooring lines, fenders, bosun's chair, anchor, fire extinguisher, lines, and so on. The boat is primarily a daysailer but two people can sleep in the cabin.
Footage of renovation in 2001 is available. Admission Report of the Dutch Association of Classic Yachts is also available ( would need translation ). The trailer is not included. Contacts available for transport to anywhere in Europe.
The boat is easy to sail on your own in light winds.
