"Seabird". Just 10.5m overall, the yacht was originally designed and built by William Fife in 1889. British historian William Collier discovered the old lines for Hubert Stagnol, a Benodet boat builder, who has since built several yachts of this type.

Originally built in the 1860’s, Sandbaggers were work boats used in New York Harbor to shuttle oysters to market. As the sails grew larger and the boats more unstable, the crew would move cargo (and later sandbags), from side to side to keep the boats upright, hence the name “Sandbaggers!”
